Barefoot Trail-Running Sneakers That Double As Outdoor Lifestyle Wear

Stand firm on multiple terrains.

The Active Ortholite Performance Insole is made of 98% recycled PU foam, which helps reduce waste and the use of virgin plastics.

*The main materials in all Vivobarefoot Vegan* products are synthetic and aren’t derived from animals. They don’t (yet) have the transparency needed over the production of all the small components (such as adhesives and dyes) used in these products to ensure they meet vegan best practices. So, while they believe the shoes are vegan, they’re not yet able to guarantee it and want to be fully transparent.

Breathable, lightweight and comfortable.

The Pro5 Puncture Resistant finish is a lightweight and flexible 0.8mm layer on the sole. Protective underfoot to keep painful bits out, but still letting all the feeling in.

Not worth the money

Honestly if you are walking around anything harder than tree bark these won't last. After 2 weeks, already have scuffs from incidental contact with rocks that have 'ground' down some of the thickness. Also it shows as white under the black surface so they are very apparent.

Comfort wise they are normal for a minimalist shoe, with a negative being the wire lacing system does create pressure points along top of foot.

Shipping was fast, but would not purchase these again. There is nothing special about this shoe to warrant the price.

Amazing shoes

I bought these to hike in the hot rocky mountains of Turkey - I haven't even left yet, but I've been 'breaking them in' and they have rapidly become my favorite shoe. I have Primus Trails, nut these are vastly superior, esoecially for the grippinrss of the sole. I used them first up the Luskville Falls Trail on a hot sunny day, and they were like glue on the rock. There's a freedom in these particular solesvthat us completely amazing!
