Shipping Policy

Free tracked shipping is offered on orders over $150CAD within Canada and the USA. These shipping services include Canada Post, USPS and sometimes FedEx. Orders will be fulfilled using the most cost effective option.

Canada Post works in conjunction with USPS and so U.S. residents will receive their parcels from USPS and can track orders using both Canada post and USPS tracking pages.

Express shipping services are offered at checkout for all orders and are calculated based on order items.

Orders under $150 CAD (Canada and USA) - Calculated at checkout.

International orders (Outside of Canada and USA) - Calculated at checkout.

Time Frames

Orders dispatch every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Cut off for next day dispatch is 12PM (i.e. Wednesday 12PM to dispatch on Thursday). Orders do not ship over the weekend.

Orders placed after 12PM on Friday and over the weekend are a priority come Monday and we see to getting those orders shipped as soon as possible.

Import Duties

US Customers: There are no import duties on personal goods entering the USA from Canada up to $800.00USD.

International Customers: Sole Freedom ships international products Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). Please use an online Import Duties and Taxes calculator to find out how much your purchase will incur. Sole Freedom does not refund duties, taxes, or any other extra fees which your local customs authority deem appropriate. Please contact your local customs office to issue a refund for these fees.

Return/Exchange policy

Sole Freedom will accept returns and exchanges under the following circumstances: 

  • The return is initiated within 30 days of purchase date
  • The exchange is initiated within 45 days of the purchase date
  • Item is in new condition (no dirt, smell, or sign of outdoor wear)

Any footwear marked "Sale" is considered to be permanently marked down and will be final sale. Returns will only be accepted for a refund of store credit. In cases where shipping is involved, the total cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund total.

Once the goods have been received and inspected, returns are expected to be processed within 24-48 hours.

Refunds

Items accepted for return will receive a full refund of the purchase price, minus the cost of the return shipping. This means we meet you halfway with shipping costs. We absorb the cost of the shipment to you and you absorb the cost of the return shipment. Once the return is processed, please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to reflect on your account, as processing time can vary depending on your bank. We will provide proof of cost of shipping if requested.

Exchanges

We are happy to provide a one-time exchange at no extra charge for regular priced items exchanged for items of equal or higher value. For exchanges of the same model and colour of footwear in a different size, this can be done using our Returns/Exchange portal. For exchanges where a different model and or colour is being exchanged, please email us at hello@solefreedom.ca with details of your exchange. We will handle the exchange and provide you with a return shipping label and instructions.

US Customers: Any returns that cross the Canadian border must have proper documentation stating that "the package is a return of goods to Canada" and please declare $0 value on the shipment. Otherwise we are subject to an import tariff and or brokerage fee to receive them back. In this case any fees will be deducted from the refund of the original purchase.

Return shipments should be sent via USPS. All other services run a strong chance of imposed import duty fees regardless of the declaration. USPS is typically the most economical option.

Unfortunately due to border crossing restrictions on packages our returns and exchange process is a bit more clunky than for our fellow Canadians.
