MATERIALS

Natural Leather: Sourced from local and environmentally-conscious tanneries, our natural leather is not only durable and breathable but also adapts to your foot's shape. We use Leather Working Group-certified materials, emphasizing reduced environmental impact.

Soy Protein: Origo's innovative sneaker soles blend thermoplastic rubber with soy protein, improving biodegradability. This material choice not only reduces waste but also cuts down on carbon emissions.

SUSTAINABILITY + ETHICS

Ethical standards are at the core of Origo; their manufacturing prioritizes worker safety, above market wages, and humane treatment. They utilize small-batch production for efficient inventory management and waste reduction. Origo sources materials predominantly from North America and manufactures near their warehouse to minimize travel distances.
