Initial quality was very good with no visible defects, and over the past few hundred km of use I have not noticed any degradation or quality issues. Suede material is holding up very well in snow, slush and mud. Wool cuff is holding shape, provides additional comfort, and works to keep trail debris out of the shoe. Traction is impressive with the Firm Ground sole.

I wear these daily for the walk to work, all day standing at work, the walk back home, and everywhere else I go (100km per week or more); they are exceptionally comfortable. Wore them today for 25 minute walk to work at -28C and with the thermal sole inside my feet were not cold. I will have to see if they are too warm in the summer, but I'll likely just deal with it and wear them anyway.

When I first started wearing them, I found they were a tad snug over the top of my foot, but they wore in perfectly and no longer have any snug spots.

They say "Obsidian", and look black in the pictures, but in real life they are more of a medium grey with a blue hue to them, and I think I prefer it over pure black.

Pricey shoe, but I would buy another pair if they continue to hold up well, and will likely be buying my partner a similar model.
