The Aptos are very light, flexible, and have the laid back, casual look you expect. I bought them in my usual size, men's 10, and I thought they'd be a bit snug to hold my foot, but they're pretty loose on me. I do have low arches, but I don't tend to have this problem with other shoes. I'd taken the insert out of my Xero Dillons and they just just fine, but I guess without laces, they have to account for lots of different feet. So with the inserts in and socks on, they're still a bit loose but they're not falling off. At least they're easy to slip on and off which is why I got them. Just something I can jump into if I need to take out the garbage or get some groceries. Another thing to mention is the cushioning around the ankle. It feels kinda strange, like when you slip on a regular shoe and you crushed the heel down a little bit so the material is folded over or whatever. It feels like the cushioning around the ankle is bunched up and not sitting properly, but that's just the way it's designed. Could just be that they're loose on me. Overall a good shoe though, I haven't had them long enough to see how they hold up, but they should be fine.
