Welcome to the landing page of the Westboro Bitcoin meetup hosted at Sole Freedom.

Sole Freedom is local business that sells ₿ased footwear. Shoes that respect human feet and help people rebase their physical health. The company is owned by Bitcoiners and has a 5 year roadmap to reduce their fiat footprint to eventually only using it as a payment network. Our first meetup on November 26 will celebrate the official beginning of accepting sats as a payment method.

Our meetup has 4 pillars: Learn, Play, Connect, Trade

Learn: Block talks (approx 10 min long teaching session), presentations, article review

Play: Balance challenges, cornhole & ping pong (when 2nd floor studio is ready)

Connect: Meet local Bitcoiners, engage in P2P trade for products and services

Trade: An opportunity to spend sats. All products & services at Sole Freedom (footwear, balance tools, socks, movement screens, balance sessions) can be purchased with sats over lightning or on the base chain while transactions are still cheap. We will also eventually host local vendors selling food products like duck eggs and jerky. We offer a juicy hard money discount on everything.
