WATERPROOF

Not only can you skip along streams and keep your toes dry, you can up the ante on where your travel takes you this winter, thanks to your new favourite pair, complete with a gusseted tongue.

OILED LEATHER UPPER

Lems has utilized a 100% full-grain leather with an oiled finish, that is pre-treated to be water repellent. To increase the water-repellency and extend it over the life of the shoe, we suggest using a waterproofing wax such as Otter Wax and reapplying 2-3 times per year.

IBR OUTSOLE

The injection blown rubber outsole is what makes Lems incredibly lightweight and flexible. Deemed as the perfect travel companion, this boot can pack down to the size of your favourite puff jacket.

ULTRA LIGHTWEIGHT

These everyday shoes are some of the lightest on the market. You might be tempted to think you’re not wearing shoes at all, but don’t be fooled; Lems has your feet covered.

ZERO-DROP

Places the forefoot and heel flat to the ground correcting posture, aligning your spine, and encouraging mid-foot strike.

GUSSETED TONGUE

Whether you prefer your laces loose or tied up tight, thanks to the gusseted tongue you’ll always be protected from the elements.

Great boots!

Love these! Comfy and stylish. They are warm and waterproof. I made one change: bought some brown/black hiking boot laces to go with the colour of the boot a little better :) Lots of space inside and I can wear thicker socks if I need to for extra warmth during the winter

Love them. These are my first barefoot shoes. Took a few days to break them in, but they now fit like a glove. Never going back to regular boots!

Good boots but not for me

These boots are beautiful and where comfortable to stand in but they unfortunately do not fit my foot. I followed the sizing guide on the Lems website and followed the advice to order a size up since I wanted to wear them with my thick wool socks for mid season. Although the length of the boot is ok (I wear all my shoes with room in front of the toes) the volume is where I feel that this is a mens shoe. I have a medium/high volume foot for a women, at least by regular standards, and my foot slushes around in this boot. Maybe a smaller size would have worked better for me, but I did follow the sizing guide🤷‍♀️ For reference Manitoba Mukluks fit me well after having stretched (they are quite narrow fresh out of the box) and Xero shoes also fit me well. Just a thing to consider if you have a medium volume foot, maybe don't size up. And fyi, these boots have a break in period which can be difficult when you're used to "floppy",slipper like, comfy footwear. On the upside they feel like a good workshop boot; I feel like a dropped chisel would probably damage them some but I wouldn't lose a toe, can't say as much for Mukluks or Xeros. Sorry for the lengthy review, hope it helps someone :)

wish I'd gotten these sooner

So comfy right out of the box. I sized up a full size and wear wool socks to keep warm down to -5 C. So far they seem quite waterproof !
